day 1.
got off to a later start than planned, but by our deadline we had set. i had finally packed everything into my car, and went to shut my hatch - guess who forgot to check if everything was far enough in? this kid.
this is what happens when you don't pack everything in your car correctly.
so, jes, mike, cait, marley and parker came over with some packing tape, and got me all patched up. i'm pretty sure that the only reason my window didn't fall through is because of the tint job i had done a while ago.
now, it just looks like a crappy tint job :-(
we left a little before 2pm, and made it down to the hideout around 6.30pm. one of my straps flew off one of my totes while on the highway, so we had to stop and fix that, and then stopped one more time to let the doggies have a potty break. so, over all we had a fairly quick trip and got all three cars unpacked before we went to bed.
